I write critical essays, reportage, and fiction, which have appeared or are forthcoming in the Missouri Review, Prairie Schooner, Ninth Letter, Broadcast, the New Yorker online, the Believer, the Atlantic, the Nation, the Drift, Guernica, Gawker, Los Angeles Review of Books, VICE, In These Times, Literary Hub, Marie Claire, and others.

I am also at work on a novel. My fiction has received support from Millay Arts, Bread Loaf, and Vermont Studio Center.
